Our Foundation Solutions
At Atlantis Waterproofing, we have many different foundation repair solutions that we can provide for you.
This problem is caused from excess hydrostatic pressure in the soil surrounding your home. The soil around your foundation swells up whenever it rains, or when there is melting snow on your lawn. All of this moisture will put a lot of force on your foundation walls. Eventually, it will cause them to lean into the home. To take care of this issue, our team will be able to install special wall anchors, braces, and support systems to strengthen the wall and keep it properly supported.
Sometimes, a cracked foundation could be an indication that something more serious is going on with the structure, including settlement. Our team of experts will be able to determine the cause of the crack and get it dealt with so it doesn't cause more problems. This crack will also need to be sealed so that moisture can't seep inside.
These cracks typically do not pose a problem for the structural integrity of a home, but they still need to be filled in and sealed to prevent moisture from seeping in through the ground and causing damage.
This problem is also caused from the soil around your home, and it's typically from poorly backfilled earth from the time when your home was being built. To fix the problem, we can install foundation piers next to the damaged wall(s). The piers will be installed deep within the earth in stable, load-bearing strata. Eventually, the piers will be able to support the weight of your home and keep it from sinking any further into the earth.
